Medecins Sans Frontieres - This organization was the first to set up in a refugee camp I once visited in Bangladesh for refugees from Burma. In all the chaos they were not only supremely effective but impeccably French, an order and neatness starting at the woven picket fencing of their compound. Magnifique!
World Vision - I've been 'adopting' kids through World Vision UK for more than ten years now. Having visited several projects of theirs in Bangladesh my worries about them being a missionary organization vanished - they're doing a great job!
