Obama and the dream
Back in January 2007 I woke from a prophetic dream, and dared to share it on that day's blog. Obama would be the next president.
And now, almost two years on, it is to be so. The event does come with that sort of spirit that makes a prophetic dream appropriate. I woke at 5am (UK time) and turned on the radio to hear Obama give his acceptance address. Turning on the TV a few hours later for some images, I found myself weeping with relief.
What is the relief? It does feel like some sort of light touching the world - even George W Bush seemed relieved by it. The stirring to do good is no longer oppositional, and so is more possible. 'Yes we can.' That feels like a motto we can adopt.
I've had a publishing plan for some years now. Suddenly it seems time to bring it out from the shadows. More on this next Spring!
